This was labelled as Micky, Davy and Peter live in Rhode Island on July 18th 1986. Here's the thing, there is another video that is definitely from that concert and can be found here ua-cam.com/video/ik2o9gh1yWM/v-deo.html I haven't yet sat down and done a comparison of both videos to ascertain whether they are actually from the same concert. They're both in the round on a revolving stage, but ...

Hurt So Bad was first a hit for Little Anthony and the Imperials way back in 1965. It also reached the top ten in 1980 for Linda Ronstadt. This is an exclusive performance by one of the songs writers, the legendary Mr Bobby Hart. Recorded for Hong Kong TV in 1980 to promote his LP The First Bobby Hart Solo Album. Odd that a performance was recorded in the Far East as the record had a limited re...

I think it was about 98 or 99 we were trying to help get these guys back on stage again and I was told they would be opening for us for about 10 concerts or so ??? And i said like hell they will, these guys are royalty and they always will be,, change the billing it is us that will open for them what ever you say rob ? And there you have it the monkey's tord with us for over a dozen concerts and it was a blast these guys were like they were 18 years old again carrying on jokeing around they were One of us so Kool especially Mickey long live the monkeys we have never forgotten them and we learned a lot from them and they will live for ever in our harts rob watkins led singer of the cocaine cowboys 7/7/24
I see they can still make the young girls jump up and down and screem all night long and All the boys want to be them long live the monkeys for ever in our harts cowboy rob of the cocaine cowboys 7/6/24
I know I'm in the minority but I like the monkees better when it's without Mike. When he got older it just seemed awkward when they were together. Not sure if there was tension or what.
Look how huge they were. Police escort and heavy security! 😍 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Well done guys
I would have loved to see him smoke a cigarette. He looked so hot when he smoked ❤
I like the monkees but this song is not my favorite.
Is it just me or does anybody else wish they performed as a foursome with Davey on drums/vocals, Micky on guitar/vocals and Peter on guitar/keyboards then another musician who could fill in for the parts Mike did, if he was with this tour that is. I really don't care about all those background musicians, it's a lot of fill in sound which is fine but these are the Monkeys, a part of rock history and just want to hear Davey, Micky and Peter playing and singing by themselves.
THIS was a real hard working band. My favorites OUR Monkees*
1:14 davy jones being an average Capricorn lol
Davy singing I wanna be free such a tear jerker moment
I was at the mandalay bay concert vegas in August 2001..prior to sep 11: sad day. That night in August was a free spirited world ...
Love it and they could play
I'm only about halfway through watching this, but it seems like they put in a whole heck of a lot of work on Circle Sky. I wonder if all the songs on the album were this intense.
I loved Michael's voice from the Monkees and I always looked for him to sing again!
ooo how I woulda loved to suck on his knob back in the day
Why does the background look like a sliced ham?
Memory Lane works even if you are adopted. Like The movie ANnie 1982 Carol Burnett starred in as Miss Hennigan.😊

He is our American Treasure for sure!
I always loved his voice and knew he had a song writer's heart and soul!
This video is awesome and how far the Guys have come in playing as a Band and they were always our Band so early in the 60's and onward!
Con que cariño y admiración los recordamos!!! Excelente grupo musical, sus melodías de encantó !!!
This is FANTASTIC. I'm tearing up right now. The Monkees will forever be my beach troubadour's and THE best boy band. ✨🧡Micky🧡✨ ✨🌞Peter🌞✨ ✨🌅Davy🌅✨ ✨😎Mike😎✨

No plot!
題名だけで、えっ?モンキーズのリード・ボーカル?或いは、デウ゛イッド・ボウイが本名で出演したの?って、思いました。😮😅
Davy was the first love of my life, from the ages of 4-6, when The Monkees show was actually in production. Never really stopped loving Davy and The Monkees, even to this day. I was lucky enough to see them in concert during their 80s MTV revival three times; I even attended a Monkees convention where I met Davy and Micky. My heart was broken when Davy passed so suddenly and so young. Then, in these past twelve years, we've lost Peter and Mike. Thank heavens Micky is still with us... but it must be sad and strange for him to be the last one standing. My, how time passes... but my love for Davy and the other boys goes on.
Seeing this so many years after David passed, you can see how winded he was during the performance, it's unfortunate nobody (or even he) didn't see it as well, he just doesn't look 'right' and not just because he was older
I was too young to see the monkeys on TV the first time. Caught them in syndication. I've grown up on rumors that none of them actually played instruments, they just faked it like the Partridge Family. But if it was ever true then, it's not true now. Peter and Mickey have instrumental talent to spare.
For what it's worth....I saw the movie...
My kids grew up listening to their mom's (my) music. In 1997 David, Micky and Peter did a show at Funfest in Kingsport, Tennessee. I took the kids to see them. There was such a large crowd that it was hard to see...however.... i could hear the guys (missed Mike) that by then had been a big deal to me about 31 years. My son was nearly 14...my daughter 10...we had a ball. Great memories that I am thankful for.
To hell. with the R&R hall of fame.
Unfortunately, I don't understand English, but I could understand the fun of the stage. In Japan, the Monkees' show became famous through reruns.
